CCLSJ was founded through a collaborative effort involving the Maryland Province of the Society of Jesus, the Diocese of Camden, and lay community leaders. Today, CCLSJ works throughout Southern New Jersey to promote justice for low-income individuals, immigrants, and other vulnerable communities through accessible legal services, advocacy, and community partnerships. In addition to continued support from the Diocese of Camden and Holy Name of Camden Ministries, our programs are supported through grants and partnerships with public agencies, private foundations, and individual supporters.
We continue to strive to level the playing field for some of the most vulnerable among us by providing compassionate, accessible legal services to individuals and families of all backgrounds and identities, treating every member of the community with dignity, fairness, and respect.
